I no longer have a set idea when working on an abstract painting. Its just the canvas, paint, tools, and me. A straight green line down the middle of a primed rose colored background becomes an undersea world. My drawings, that I started two years ago, are really remembering drawing with my grandmother at the kitchen table, keeping them simple and fun so all children can enjoy them.
