Crystal Park is a private nature retreat and art park in Holmes, New York. The 200-acre scenic landscape of woodlands, rocky hills, mountains and lake provides an environment for the display of a permanent site-specific art collection along with the creation of new pieces.

This is designed to offer widely varied views depending on the position a visitor chooses relative to the piece, the surrounding landscape, and the light. The glass panels reflect and reveal the park in ever-changing combinations,

A cluster of 16 massive handmade “stones” in trees. Echoing the pattern of stones scattered about this geologically spectacular and steep landscape, I have placed in trees high overhead a lighthearted and unexpected series of my signature handmade stones.

Is part of One Line World Project by artist Ken Hiratsuka. The idea of this project is carving the world as one huge sculpture through the hands of artist. Driven by his belief that art can transcend barriers of language and nationality, Hiratsuka creates site-specific works in different countries and environments, often living with the people and incorporating local cultural stories, events, and icons into the carvings.

Artwork made of aluminum tubes is rough horizonal oval suspended in woods in fall with boulders beneath. This is based on the shape of Taiwan Island. Using the factory materials (aluminum strips) from owner’s company to create this artwork. From a distance in the woods, it is a line from white to green. In the park with four distinct seasons, it is a kind of unchanging spiritual orientation and dependence.
