My art consists of looking at life and finding new ways to portray it, I do this most recently through photography, painting, and mixed media, I also tend to work in layers. The subjects that inspire me come from my life experiences; (books, nature, dreams etc.) Experimentation is where I find joy. I Look for ways to use of different mediums and supports that don’t normally go together and saying, ” Why not”? For me it’s almost like sculpting. It feels like I’m allowing or uncovering something from within, whether it’s on canvas, paper, metal, or with a camera. I try to be open to and look for what wants or needs to be seen. I love to share my work and hear what others see when they look at it, and hope that what I create inspires people to see things in new ways.
