Eleven years ago Mary and I went to an artist’s open studio in this area. The first thing I saw that interested me was an American flag made with wine corks. I knew enough people that drink wine, so I I’d have a good supply of wine corks. I’m also a patriot. A perfect match, flags made with wine corks. To date I’ve made over 500 pieces of art with wine corks.
